A brief guide to LEC Spring 2025

Following Karmine Corp’s second-place finish at First Stand, fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the LEC Spring 2025 split.

All 10 teams return for another shot at an LEC trophy, with spots at both MSI 2025 and EWC 2025 also on the line. Ahead of the event, here’s a brief guide that details LEC Spring 2025’s schedule, format and livestream information.

LEC Spring 2025 will begin on March 29th with the Regular Season following a single round robin format.

Every series played during the stage will be best-of-three and will continue to use the Fearless Draft system. Here is the opening match schedule for each team:

After the Regular Season’s conclusion on May 12th, the top six teams will advance to double-elimination Playoffs, featuring best-of-five matches using Fearless Draft.

The top four teams from the Regular Season will be seeded into the Upper Bracket, while the remaining two will start from the Lower Bracket. The Playoffs will run from May 24th until June 8th, with the top two teams heading to MSI and EWC 2025.

Moreover, Riot has announced the debut of the LEC Roadtrip, a series of special showdays organised by partnered teams to offer their fans unforgettable, tailored experiences.

The first LEC Roadtrip will be held by Movistar KOI at Madrid Arena on April 26th and 27th, followed by Karmine Corp at Les Arènes on May 10th and 11th.

Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp have also planned bonus festivities for attending fans, with details to be revealed at a later date.

Fresh off their LEC Winter 2025 Grand Final victory against G2 Esports and an impressive runner-up finish at First Stand, Karmine Corp will be aiming to secure its second LEC title.

All eyes will be on KC’s star players, Toplaner Kim ‘Canna‘ Chang-dong and Botlaner Caliste ‘Caliste‘ Henry-Hennebert, as they take the stage following stellar performances this year.

Fnatic, a team that fell just short last time after a narrow loss to Karmine Corp in the Lower Grand Final, will be looking to finish the job this time. The organisation has since brought in Christopher ‘Duffman’ Duff as assistant coach to help the team reach its goal.

“I’m rested and ready to put my all into another project and looking forward to reconnecting with Grabbz again with all the lessons we’ve learned in the past couple years,” Duffman stated on X (Twitter).

The event will be streamed live on LEC’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. The Riot Games Arena in Berlin will also host a live audience, with tickets already on sale.

Fans will also be able to enjoy the matches with their favorite content creators, watching them react through sanctioned watch parties. However, Riot Games has yet to announce the list of co-streamers for the Spring Split.
