Counter-Strike 2 professional player Joakim ‘Jkaem‘ Myrbostad has released a public statement in response to a skin scam allegation.

The Norwegian player says he will work with BC Game Esports to ‘pay back everything,’ though the organisation has yet to comment on the allegations.

A thread of statements were posted by Jkaem on X on March 26th, 2025 in light of a series of allegations made against him that he had gambled away skins that were loaned to him.

He said: “Together with BC team, we are sitting down and taking this very seriously. They want to help me fix the damage I have caused to everyone involved. I am being honest and open with them about my issues and how we have ended here.”

Jkaem Allegedly Stole $11,000 Worth of CS2 Skins

Jkaem’s confession comes following a series of posts made on X by someone going by Erlsan. He accused Jkaem of gambling away $11,000 (roughly £8,500) worth of Counter-Strike 2 skins he lent him for the Paris Major back in March 2023.

“In March 2023 I lent out skins to Jkaem to play with during the Paris major,” he said. “Months later, he had gambled my skins away. After a year of excuses, lies and deceits, I have no choice left but to go public with this.”

Erlsan shared that he had allegedly set a deadline for March 15th, 2025 before going public. But he claims Jkaem only paid $1,000 (roughly £850) as a result.

In January of this year, Erlsan alleges that Oliver ‘zipeL’ Behrensdorff reached out to Jkaem for repayments sooner.

In a response on X, zipeL said: “Messaged Jkaem on two occasions and stressed how nice and patient Erlsan had been with him.

“I also offered to help him discuss whatever issues he had privately in case I could help him in any way, but he did not take me up on that offer.”

ZipeL went on to accuse Jkaem of taking skins from multiple people. In a separate thread on X, Jkaem himself also shared that Erlsan was not the only case.

“I don’t have any excuses,” he said. “There is more than one case. I will pay back everything to everyone I owe money/skins. I take full responsibility and I own my mistakes.”
