As Fortnite teams gear up for FNCS Major 2 2025, esports data and viewership platform Esports Charts has shared the most-watched events of the year so far. The season is off to a strong start, with FNCS Major 1 2025 Europe reaching a peak viewership of over 470,000—the highest of all this season.

This is nearly double the peak viewership of FNCS Major 1 2025 North America Central, which secured the second spot with over 270,000 peak viewers. However, the numbers fall short compared to the previous season, where peak viewership hit over 730,000 for the European event.

In terms of total watch time, the region crossed the mark of 4.7m hours watched. The third and fourth most-watched FNCS events so far are Major 1 Brazil and Major 1 North America West, respectively.

Fortnite Esports Heating Up in 2025

The top two teams from Major 1 Europe and North America Central have secured direct qualification for the Fortnite Global Championship, Fortnite’s biggest event of the year. Meanwhile, only the winners from other regions have earned their spot in the championship.

The remaining teams will have another chance to qualify through FNCS Major 2 and Major 3, set to take place in April and July in their respective regions, as they compete for a place in the Fortnite Global Championship.

FNCS 2025 features a massive $8m (~£6,188,360) prize pool. Apart from the cash rewards, trios will battle for the exclusive Blade of Champions pickaxe, which will be passed down to each FNCS 2025 event winner until the next champions are crowned.
