Asian esports organisation TALON Esports has announced a partnership with online gaming software and technology firm ExitLag. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

According to a release, ExitLag will be supporting Talon Esports’ competitive lineups across its four line ups in League of Legends (Taiwan), VALORANT (Thailand), Dota 2 (Philippines), and Arena of Valor (Thailand).

According to a release, ExitLag will support the teams and players by ‘providing network performance solutions,’ optimising their connectivity, and ensuring a smoother, lag-free competitive experience. Talon will be promoting the brand through its content and logo placement on team jerseys during domestic and international competitions.

ExitLag is a Florida-based company that uses multi-path technology to optimize real-time data routing, reducing lag, packet loss, and jitter to the players. In addition to sponsoring Talon Esports, ExitLag is also partnered with the Brazilian team paiN Gaming.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Hong Kong, TALON Esports fields teams across a total of 11 game titles, including others such as Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG Mobile, Street Fighter, TEKKEN 8 and StarCraft 2.

Its large expansion strategy covers eight markets in the Asian Pacific region, which has allowed it to secure a notable portfolio of partners, such as hardware ZOWIE, furniture company Secretlab, streetwear boutique Carniva, gaming hardware company ThundeRobot and energy drink brand Monster Energy.

Jarrold Tham, Co-Founder and CFO of Talon Esports, said in his LinkedIn post: “As a dominant force in competitive gaming, TALON is committed to ensuring its players compete at the highest level.

“With ExitLag’s multi-path technology, TALON’s athletes will benefit from enhanced connectivity, reduced lag, and a more stable gaming experience—critical advantages in professional esports where every millisecond counts.”
