Russian esports organisation Virtus.pro announced its latest partnership with tech company Samsung Electronics.

The partnership will see the roster’s training facilities kitted out with the latest Samsung gear including monitors, smartphones, TVs and more.

The announcement was made through a blog post on the official Virtus.pro website on March 14th, 2025. It shared that in addition to the tech upgrade, there would be plans for future ‘joint campaigns and special projects.’

“The support of a globally renowned brand will strengthen our position on the international stage and allow us to continue delivering exciting moments to Virtus.pro supporters around the world.”

Virtus.pro is the latest venture for Samsung’s continued expansion into esports. Samsung Electronics has established partnerships with several organizations, including NRG, VCT Americas, Twitch Rivals, GIANTX, T1 and more.

Lee Chungsun, president of Samsung Electronics CIS headquarters, said: “Samsung takes great pride in its long-standing commitment to esports and continues to play an active role in its development.

“Together with Virtus.pro, we aim to grow esports in the CIS region, support young talent, and inspire them to pursue successful careers in the industry. We are confident that this collaboration will strengthen gaming culture and contribute to the evolution of professional esports.”

An announcement was also made on X by the official Virtus.pro account, saying that the partnership will ‘aim to develop esports in the CIS region by supporting both young talents and established players.’

The details of this part of the partnership is still not revealed.
